| | | | | | | | | Inishturkbeg is a small private island off the west coast of the Irish mainland, within the spectacular scenery of Clew Bay. The site is designated as a Candidate of Special Area of Conservation, and is also an area of historic interest and ecological sensitivity. Our brief was to build a new five bedroom family home. The design located the new house so the main westerly aspect looks out over the stunning Atlantic coastline with the rooms recessed into the landscape. The proposal has full unconditional planning and the project is proceeding to detailed design. |
